The Daily Caller explains:
Most American kids attend public schools. On the other hand, the first daughters, Malia and Sasha, attend Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. Tuition per student at the private school is $36,264 per year (but that includes a hot lunch).For Tuesday, Dec. 9, the scrumptious, bountiful lunch menu for both the middle school and the upper school at Sidwell Friends is:
Potato Sausage Soup; Firecracker Slaw; California Chef’s Salad; All Natural Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings; Sweet Potato Black Bean Bake; Sautéed Local Greens; Gemelli Alfredo; Sliced Pineapple
This menu of completely free lunch items certainly sounds delicious and nutritious. Also, to be clear, it’s for a single day, not the entire week.
Here’s a few more examples of the school lunch choices offered to the First Daughters and their friends:

She should have nothing to do with it, but she does. Why is she on TV talking about school lunches, and if schools don't follow, your budget money is reduced? These lunches are worse than when I was in school, and they were horrible then, too. I guess all the kids all over the country are lying when they take these photos and say thanks Michelle. Look at what their menu is for the El ite , and look at France and what they serve. If you feed them poison food and teach them poison, then most will become mindless morons to shape and mold. Brave new world indeed!

I apologized for whom? The discrepancies in School Meal quality falls squarely upon the Districts in question. No one else! Want better school lunches? Go to next School Board Mtg. and DEMAND THEM! Simple!

Divide and conquer. The source is lying? Prove it. Did the story lie? I don't care if Disney wrote it, you can prove if it is true if you look. Do you have an agenda? If they don't follow the guidelines, they don't get as much money. It does come down to your district then. If they really care, they won't take the money, and serve good food! How many will not take the money? The govt makes you make the decision, so they are promoting it.

I agree with demanding better lunches, but they won't get as much money if they don't follow. Most of the news comes from the same sources, they repost or write an article using the same source for info, AP, ext.. This is easy to find, Google the info, read a bunch, decide for yourself. Don't listen to people telling you what to think, look it up!
Michelle is doing her best as a mother while putting up with a husband with a secret love nest. You would think that Barry and Lindsey Graham could be more discreet.

These People in charge are very creative/resourceful when it comes to keeping or maintaining Federal Funds. Berkeley did it. So can other Districts. Your point?
